Inventory Audit Analyst
Job Description
Clock in as the go-to person for inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across Olympus' Sales and Marketing teams. Your role involves coordinating physical counts, reconciling accounts, and maintaining thorough documentation.
Job Duties
- Reconcile sales reps inventory accounts with audit results from a third-party company.
- Generate and disseminate daily, weekly, and monthly audit-related reports as needed.
- Monitor potential write-offs due to missing field inventory, particularly for disposables and accessories.
- Summarize audit results into actionable data and communicate findings to affected reps and upper management.
- Perform system transactions to reconcile inventory accounts in SAP and Salesforce.
- Create AR records for all missing capital items and escalate to the Asset Retrieval team.
- Maintain oversight of exited reps' outstanding evaluation orders and collaborate with RVPs and team members to ensure proper reconciliation.
- Coordinate the return shipment of field inventory for exiting representatives and document the audit timeline and results.
- Escalate policy violations to the Compliance Group as necessary.
- Keep detailed records of all activities as required for J-SOX compliance.
- Provide backup support to other Asset Management personnel as needed, based on field data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree.
- Minimum 3 years of inventory, asset management, or auditing experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word), SAP, and Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong inventory management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Less than 10% travel required.
