What You'll Do

• Cook up and oversee physical inventory cycle counts.
• Investigate inventory variances and resolve discrepancies.
• Update and reconcile internal costs for repackaged products.
• Review standard and actual costs for accuracy.
• Validate cost of goods sold (COGS) during the month-end close process.
• Partner with the lubricant management team to identify and dispose of obsolete inventory.
• Maintain accurate records related to physical inventories.
• Analyze inventory and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare inventory reports, variance analyses, and breakeven reporting.
• Aid branch locations with inventory balancing and reconciliation.
• Support annual audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Advanced mathematical aptitude
• Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Internal audit experience preferred
