About the role
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is seeking an Inventory Associate to support its stockroom and materials management functions.
Responsibilities
- Supports daily operations of the stockroom and materials management functions.
- Ensures timely access to supplies, equipment, and resources for teaching, research, and laboratory activities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 24 months experience in inventory control and/or material management, procurement or closely related experience.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.
Department Preferences
- Experience working in a laboratory, scientific, academic, or higher education environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and purchasing procedures.
- Experience handling laboratory supplies, chemicals, or hazardous materials.
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
