Inventory & Asset Control Specialist
Main Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include:
- Management of equipment & parts inventory, including audits.
- Sourcing and purchasing equipment & parts for items within the teams’ scope (plumbing parts, electrical parts, tools, etc.).
- Inventory management & forecasting.
- Sourcing contract vendors to provide services for onsite projects or to provide long-term services.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe workplace and setting a high bar for working safely.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with the factory customers and Facilities counterparts.
- Providing direction to vendors supporting FOH activities.
- Inspecting buildings’ physical plant daily to guarantee that building services are at the highest level of quality standards.
- Ensuring the site is operating according to state and local building codes.
- Planning and scheduling all maintenance work on facility assets including Preventative, Predictive, Corrective and Reactive.
- Working closely with Facilities Shift Supervisors to support any off-shift maintenance needs, identifying opportunities for improvement in maintenance program.
- Monitoring contractors' work and ensuring it is performed in accordance with contract specifications.
- Continuously evaluating service delivery processes and making needed changes to drive cost savings initiatives including insource vs. outsource.
- Understanding and supporting Site performance indicators.
- Aiding in annual budget development and management for outsourced services.
- Generating Purchase Orders (POs), paying invoices, and tracking vendor expenditures.
- Working with Front of house manager to generate scope for outsourced services.
- Working closely with Front of house manager and Procurement during Request for Proposal (RFP) and performing ongoing service provider management including scorecards.
- Developing partnerships with vendors and becoming familiar with Vendor onboarding process.
- PR/PO and process completed invoices for payment.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or minimum 2-year experience in related field.
- Technical Skills: Experience with equipment inventory & tracking, sourcing parts, and mechanical & equipment functionality; MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Interpersonal Skills: Communication, computer proficiency, presentation skills, active listening, teamwork, detailed oriented, self-motivated & proactive.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment for prolonged periods of time; tasks may include lifting, bending, standing, or extended walking.
- Training: Ability to travel to Taiwan for training.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA safety certifications & knowledge.
- SQL / FAM.
Shift Expectations
