Key Responsibilities
- Process deliveries by unloading, checking, and signing for incoming shipments from freight carriers and suppliers.
- Inspect boxes and products for damage, correct quantities, and verify specifications against the original purchase order.
- Accurately update warehouse management software and log databases as new stock arrives.
- Organize stock in designated warehouse or storage locations and deliver materials to the appropriate departments.
- Perform regular physical counts of stock to ensure they match digital records and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare documentation for returns, process refunds or exchanges with vendors, and report shortages.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail to track part numbers, expiration dates, and physical counts accurately.
- Familiarity with inventory control software, barcode scanners, and data entry.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy packages, and operate warehouse equipment like hand trucks or forklifts.
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with carriers, procurement teams, and other internal departments.
