Inventory Analyst-Temp

About the Role

Knight Aerospace is hiring multiple Temporary Inventory Analysts to support growing operations in San Antonio, TX. These are temporary, full-time W-2 positions expected to last up to 3 months, with possible extension based on business needs. The role is 100% on-site, overtime eligible, and requires passing a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute daily cycle counts.
• Perform inventory analysis (CETEC vs. Actual) and investigate discrepancies.
• Provide storage and disposition recommendations for slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
• Ensure inventory is properly consolidated, stored, and traceable for efficient issuance.
• Coordinate inventory adjustments with accounting and ensure timely transactions.
• Support proper re-entry of Return To Stock (RTS) material into CETEC.
• Assist in organizing and executing the annual full physical inventory.
• Control the flow of supplies and equipment, track inventory maintenance, and develop loss mitigation protocols.
• Record documentation in CETEC and ensure accurate, timely order processing.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Aerospace or government contract experience preferred.
• Forklift experience highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (CETEC preferred).

Work Environment

• Full-time, dynamic manufacturing environment with minimal travel.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and typical warehouse conditions.
• May require movement between office, production, and warehouse areas.

• Ability to move throughout office, production, and warehouse areas for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive computer and desk-related tasks.
• Ability to reach, bend, and perform routine movements associated with the position.
