Inventory Analyst
About the role
This position is for an Inventory Analyst professional who participates in the supply and demand planning process, and is responsible for making minor changes in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of the work area. May work with an internal team to develop financial forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement projects in Material Handling, Picking Processes, Part Market Setup, KPI Implementation, and 3PL Management
- Review trends and identify root causes of problems and corresponding corrective actions to contain and solve inventory discrepancies
- Identify optimization opportunities for systematic and physical movements of material
- Support and develop capabilities to coach inventory control teams in Inventory, Receiving, Part Markets, Cycle Counting, and Auditing
- Utilize 10-Step Problem Solving and Six Sigma activities to support inventory opportunities
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report data
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain or logistics
- Completed internship or more than 6 months’ work experience in supply chain
- Proficient level MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
- Proficient in Power BI/Dashboard skills
- Detail-oriented
- Interpersonal skills
- English verbal and written skills
Pay and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is between $53,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation: This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
