About the role

The Inventory Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance across Bioventus Operations, including the Memphis warehouse and 3PL partners. This position involves developing and maintaining inventory reports, analyzing variances, and supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute inventory snapshot reports, period-end reporting, and inventory control metrics to support inventory accuracy and SOX compliance.
  • Analyze inventory variances, transaction activities, and performance trends, assist in root cause investigations, and support inventory optimizations initiatives.
  • Support cycle count programs using ABC inventory classification methodologies, review count results, identify trends, and address variances.
  • Participate in period-end, quarter-end, and year-end inventory reporting activities, including variance analysis and inventory-related financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Quality, Finance, and IT to optimize inventory accuracy and performance.
  • Contribute to ongoing system improvements and technology upgrades aimed at enhancing inventory control and operational efficiency.
  • Support inventory readiness for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • An associates or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on inventory management experience, with strong experience in SAP.
  • Strong experience driving process improvements in dynamic environments.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in a medical device manufacturing or other regulated industry is strongly preferred.

Qualifications
