Inventory Analyst

About the role

Meyer Utility Structures is seeking an Inventory Analyst for their plant in Fort Worth, Texas. This position reports to the Materials Manager and collaborates with the Materials, Shipping, and Operations Departments to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Enter, track, update, and report on various inventory items
• Create and issue cut tickets for plate and non-plate materials
• Follow up on allocated/not used plates, and other items as needed
• Maintain records retention for shipping paperwork and other items as necessary
• Conduct purchase card reconciliations
• Expedite accounts payable past due items
• Assist Buyers with closing line items and matching with accounts payable
• Create job folders for Plate Buyers
• Create job packets for the Bolt House
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 year of related experience and/or education
• A high degree of dependability, maturity, and responsibility as demonstrated through previous work experience or education/civic activities
• Previous experience working with/in manufacturing facilities is preferred, but not required
• Experience with reconciliations, records keeping, accounts payable, and other related tasks is preferred, but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
