About the role
The Inventory Analyst (3rd Shift) is a full-time, on-site role based in Lincoln, AL.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and analyzing inventory levels
- Reconciling discrepancies and ensuring accurate inventory records
- Conducting cycle counts
- Reviewing inventory reports
- Investigating variances
- Couordinating with operations and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- Utilizing data and analytical tools to identify trends
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Helping reduce inventory-related costs
- Preparing inventory documentation
- Participating in audits
- Communicating findings and recommendations to leadership
Qualifications
- Post-high school education (2 - 4-year degree in Operations Management), Business or related field) or equivalent experience
- Skilled proficiently in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong PC skills required with functional knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and QMF/SQL is a plus
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an Inventory Control role or equivalent experience
- High attention to detail and reliability with strong decision-making ability under minimal guidance
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organization and communication skills
- Able to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
- Must be flexible to work different hours as needed by the department/business
