Intune Engineer
Job Summary
The Intune Engineer will support our client's team by owning the review, hardening, and scaling of iOS app deployments through Microsoft Intune. This includes auditing existing Intune configurations, identifying gaps and risks, and implementing improvements for reliable, repeatable deployments at scale. The role involves partnering with mobile engineering and IT teams to establish documented deployment processes, setting up pre-release validation, and standing up monitoring/reporting for deployment success rates.
Requirements
- Deep experience implementing, configuring, and scaling Microsoft Intune for enterprise organizations
- Strong understanding of MDM, including device enrollment, authentication, compliance, and security best practices
- Hands-on experience administering Intune for iOS at scale; strong grasp of the Apple ecosystem (ABM, VPP, APNs certificates, app distribution)
- Proven ability to advise on Intune architecture, deployment strategies, and operational best practices
- Experience supporting large enterprise customers with complex device management requirements
- Comfortable building dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for a lean operational team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience at companies providing enterprise-grade iOS applications or device management solutions highly preferred
