About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the city's public parks and recreational facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the quality of city parks and recreational facilities.
- Plan and implement programs to promote community health and wellness.
- Collaborate with community groups and stakeholders to improve park usage and safety.
- Develop and manage budgets for park maintenance and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in park management or similar field.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of local government operations and policies.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Benefits

Pay
$75,000 annually.
