Schedule
- Call requirement: 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks
- Weekday call hours: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Weekend call hours: Friday 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
About the Role
Interventional Radiology is a sub-specialty of radiology where minimally invasive procedures are performed using image guidance. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist at HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's, you will:
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of all Special/Interventional Procedures
- Provide appropriate and positive patient care and exemplary customer service to patients of all ages
- Maintain strong communication and organization within Interventional Radiology and across departments
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians
- Use critical thinking skills for daily job prioritization
- Assume accountability for personal and team contributions
- Participate in call rotation, including weekends and holidays
- Cross-train in one or more modalities as required
Requirements
- Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program with current ARRT certification
- Maintain current registry through continuing education
- Current ARRT RT(R)(VI) or (CV) certification
- Current BLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date)
- Interventional/Special Procedure experience preferred
- No travel required
