About the Role
Under moderate supervision, conducts diagnostic imaging procedures in Angiography, Interventional Radiology, and Diagnostic Radiology. Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, explaining procedures and requirements to patients and families. Cross-training opportunities are available for current XRAY Techs.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) with formal knowledge in a specialized field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- ARRT Certification
- Maryland State License
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
- Assist physicians during interventional and therapeutic procedures
- Explain procedures and requirements to patients and their families
- Maintain certification and licensing requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
