Interventional Radiology RN
Position Purpose
The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse RN at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center assists interventional radiologists in performing minimally invasive procedures using imaging technology.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- Ideal candidates will have 1 year of Inpatient Medical/Surgical Acute Care experience. Interventional Radiology, ICU, or Emergency Room experience is a strong preference.
Preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Important Consideration
This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training through Radiology Nursing.
Position Highlights
- Full-Time – 36 hours/week - Day Shift.
- Four 9-hour shifts
- On-Call requirement for five (5) Night shifts, along with every sixth (6th) weekend per six-week schedule.
- Hourly position, included in RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95
