Responsibilities

• Affirms patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records and clinical data.
• Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.
• Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
• Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluates the effectiveness of teaching.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing [Preferred]
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities including organizational skills, effective verbal and interpersonal communication, strong grammar and spelling abilities, and ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• One plus years of experience preferred in nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty [Required]

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) [Preferred]

Skills

• Effective verbal and interpersonal communication
• Strong grammar and spelling abilities
