Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for Interventional Radiology (IR) patients
- Administer IV sedation and medications
- Monitor patient status during procedures
- Manage IVs and dressings
- Collaborate with care teams
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
- Educate patients and families
- Document care in Epic
- Support safety initiatives
- Mentor staff
- Ensure safe, efficient procedures
- Respond to emergencies
- Support team training
- Maintain equipment readiness
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- CPR (BLS & ACLS) certification
- Critical care or emergency experience preferred
- Telemetry monitoring experience advantageous
