Position Overview
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care across departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and aligns duties with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications
- Nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional certifications may be required based on department: ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, C-EFM, or unit-specific credentials
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform tasks involving reaching, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with standards and protocols
- Evaluate and improve care quality provided by team members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient services
- Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety
