Interventional Radiologist – Full-Time (Onsite)

About the role
We are seeking a Full-Time Interventional Radiologist to support comprehensive, hospital-based radiology services across three Inland Valley hospital locations: Inland Valley Hospital, Temecula Hospital, and Rancho Springs Medical Center. This role follows a structured block coverage model designed to support clinical continuity, procedural volume, and sustainable work-life balance. The position includes procedural responsibilities with integrated call coverage and offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, biopsies, catheter insertions, vascular interventions, and ablations
- Interpret diagnostic imaging to guide procedural planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgery, oncology, emergency medicine, hospitalists, etc.)
- Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and communication
- Provide timely consultative support to referring providers
- Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Proficiency in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment
Pay
Compensation is aligned with coverage commitment, employment classification, and annual workload expectations under an approved block scheduling model.
- Full-Time Coverage (26 Weeks / 182 Shifts per Year)
- W-2 Employment: $650,000 annually
- 1099 Independent Contractor: $675,000 annually
- Productivity Compensation: Diagnostics support an additional $40 per RVU, paid in addition to base shift rates.
