Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and vascular interventional radiology procedures (not all inclusive)
- Preliminary diagnostic interpretation reports
- Barium enemas
- Esophograms
- Upper GI series
- Arthrograms
- Myelograms
- Lumbar punctures
- Central venous access
- Biopsies
- Drainages
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
Minimum Education, Certification, And Prior Experience Required
- Master’s in physician assistant studies or equivalent from an accredited program
- Master of Science in Nursing Specializing in Acute Care equivalent from an accredited program
- ACLS/BLS certification
- Current medical license (ideally Texas) in good standing without disciplinary action
- NCCPA board certification
- Certification by either the American Nurse Credentials Center or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
