About the Role
Provides emergency, consultative, and diagnostic services in a regional critical access hospital and EMS transfer hub.
Responsibilities
- Manage 24/7 call coverage for ED presentations and flight transfers
- Perform 30 echocardiograms weekly
- Conduct 10-15 stress tests weekly
- Perform 25-30 EKGs daily
- Complete 5-10 Holter monitor studies weekly
- Conduct patient rounding and consults (average 1-4 consults per day)
- Interpret diagnostic studies
- Handle STEMIs and support regional EMS activities
- Provide high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Work experience required; no fellowship needed
- Must possess relevant certifications and competencies in emergency and cardiology procedures
