About the role

Translate basic to intermediate communication between English and another language, and assist in the orientation and onboarding of new members of the language services team.

Responsibilities

• Listen to, comprehend, and translate oral or written communications from English to another language and vice versa.
• Comply with all privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating patient information.
• Develop translated forms and educational materials for non-English speaking and/or hearing populations.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
• Fluency in another language, in addition to English, required.
