About the role
The Registered Professional Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital's NICU is responsible for applying the nursing process, delegating tasks to other staff, supervising patient care, coordinating care for a group of patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Responsibilities
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Delegating patient care tasks to other staff members
- Supervising other patient care staff
- Cooking/coordination of care for a group of patients
- Consulting with other members of the health care team as necessary
Requirements
Must have a current RN license in West Virginia.
Qualifications
Experience in a critical care setting preferred.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and strong problem-solving abilities are required.
