About the role

The Registered Professional Nurse at Cabell Huntington Hospital's NICU is responsible for applying the nursing process, delegating tasks to other staff, supervising patient care, coordinating care for a group of patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Delegating patient care tasks to other staff members
• Supervise other patient care staff
• Care coordination for a group of patients
• Consulting with other members of the health care team as necessary

Requirements

Must have a current RN license in West Virginia.

Qualifications

Experience in a critical care setting preferred.

Skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
