About Us

Explico delivers premium scientific and engineering services in accident reconstruction, biomechanics, human factors, and visualization, including railroad, fire & explosion, mechanical failure analysis, and marine accident reconstruction. We analyze evidence using industry accepted tools and techniques combined with state-of-the-art technology with a goal of conveying our findings in simple, concise terms.

About the Role

Explico employs talented interns in Accident Reconstruction, Biomechanics, Human Factors, and Visualization. Full-time summer internships are available at our locations in Englewood, Colorado and Novi, Michigan.

Currently our Novi office plans to offer the following internship positions for the summer of 2027:

• Accident Reconstruction
• Biomechanics
• Human Factors

Our internships are paid and involve real world experience in our industry. Some of the general duties include the following:

• Research
• Testing
• Technical Reference Management
• Forensic Case Work

Your manager will determine the scope of your work based on available projects. You will have 30, 60, and 90 day goals with significant responsibility for your own project, while also learning the day-to-day work of forensic consulting.

Requirements

Experience and Education

• Currently pursuing, or already completed, a degree in a related field
• Bonus if you have research experience

Software Proficiency

• Comfortable in Mac OS X and Windows 10
• Microsoft Office

Pay

Starting pay for our interns and co-ops ranges from $20-$30 an hour.
