INTERNSHIPS Looking for a well-rounded interior design internship that will give you a taste of professional life? Then you have found your match! Position Description Chambers’ interns will have the opportunity to collaborate with interior designers and architects on exclusive private club, hospitality, and lifestyle design projects. Interns will be an integral part of the team, touching all aspects of the design process, including master planning, programming, research and development, concept design, color and material selection, and preparation of design boards and presentations. Interns will be charged with contributing to conceptual designs, schematic designs, and design development phases of projects under the direction of senior studio designers and architects, and will also become acquainted with administrative aspects of the profession by assisting in the preparation of budgets, picking up red lines of construction documents, and assisting in construction administration. Additionally, this internship will provide the opportunity to network with other design professionals through student organizations like ASID, NEWH, IIDA, AIA, and more. Qualified Candidates Should Be a junior or senior working towards completing a Bachelors or Masters degreeHave a passion and aptitude for high-end hospitality and/or residential designDemonstrate a proactive attitude and a proven ability to participate in multiple projects concurrentlyBe familiar with AutoCAD, REVIT, or other BIM software, in addition to Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong sketching abilities preferred Compensation Chambers offers paid compensation commensurate with experience, as well as a welcoming environment that encourages and supports personal career development.
