Internships

Chambers’ interns will collaborate with interior designers and architects on exclusive private club, hospitality, and lifestyle design projects. Interns will be an integral part of the team, touching all aspects of the design process.

Responsibilities

• Master planning, programming, research and development
• Concept design, color and material selection
• Preparation of design boards and presentations
• Contribute to conceptual designs, schematic designs, and design development phases under the direction of senior studio designers and architects
• Assist in administrative aspects of the profession, including preparation of budgets, picking up red lines of construction documents, and construction administration

Requirements

• Junior or senior working towards completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Passion and aptitude for high-end hospitality and/or residential design
• Proactive attitude and ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, REVIT, or other BIM software, in addition to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong sketching abilities preferred
