Located on the Black Warrior River near the University of Alabama, JMF offers a challenging internship geared toward students who are looking to learn more about the field of accounting in a great learning environment. Work-life balance takes teamwork! JMF also offers spring internships to give students a hands-on experience of “real world” accounting. These internships give students the opportunity in either audit or tax to work on a variety of engagements under the firm’s supervision. Interns will be introduced to the firm’s software programs and will perform entry level audit procedures and prepare tax returns as well as assist firm staff on more challenging engagements. Training Interns will experience in-depth training on all of JMF’s programs and procedures. Following the training each intern will have more experienced staff available to assist them with their work. Experiences Interns will have the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of work that will provide them with a well-rounded intern experience. Interns will also work directly with a variety of JMF employees – from shareholders to staff and everyone in between.
