Full time employees at JMF are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

• Paid leave totaling 120 hours per year (accrual begins with first full month of service at 10 hours per month, increasing with years of service milestones at 10, 15, and 20 years)

Responsibilities

• Tax return preparation and assisting with tax compliance and strategy development
• Providing accounting and financial reporting through audit, review, and compilation services
• Working on special engagements, including agreed-upon procedures and consulting projects
• Collaborating closely with staff, seniors, managers, and shareholders
• Working directly with clients and utilizing extensive web research to maintain competence in clients’ business areas

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
• CPA eligibility
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall preferred
• Eligibility to work in the United States

Internship Program

JMF offers challenging internships for students seeking real-world experience in a fun, family-oriented atmosphere. Internships provide hands-on opportunities in audit or tax, including:

• Working on a variety of engagements under firm supervision
• Training on JMF’s software programs and procedures
• Performing entry-level audit procedures and preparing tax returns
• Assisting firm staff on more complex engagements
• Direct collaboration with shareholders, managers, and staff

Interns receive in-depth training and ongoing support from experienced staff. With nearly 100 employees, JMF balances a full internship experience with a close-knit team environment.

Internship Qualifications

• Senior in accounting (undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall preferred
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Available full-time at least through March 15th
