About the role

The Quant Trading Internship at Virtu offers a comprehensive learning experience. The program includes a company-curated global training week, real-world trading challenges, and social events to foster team bonding and cultural understanding. Interns will work on a variety of projects under the guidance of senior mentors.

Responsibilities

• Solve real-world trading problems as they arise in the markets.
• Work on a menu of projects provided by the team.
• Collaborate with senior traders on various trading desks including Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Options, ETFs, Energy, etc.

Requirements

• Top performers with excellent academic backgrounds (hard sciences preferred).
• Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
• Some programming experience (Python, SQL, Java, or C++ preferred).
• A proactive and self-motivated individual with a proven track record of initiative and teamwork.

Pay

$5,000 - $5,800 weekly (exclusive of sign-on bonuses, housing, meals, benefits, or any other forms of compensation).
