Internship, Immigration Specialist (Fall 2026)

What You'll Do

• Update applicable employee records and reports in the appropriate systems
• Help manage and respond to general inquiries under direction
• Represent the Tesla immigration team in a professional manner by building rapport and trust with Tesla employees on the immigration process
• Identify process inefficiencies and work with the team to simplify and document our workflows
• Create, review, and analyze reports to understand trends in immigration data
• Cook up regulatory notice of filing postings for NIV and green card cases
• Process general invitation letters supporting business travelers
• Take on other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Political Science, International Relations, Human Resources, or Sociology
• 1- 2 years related employment immigration experience and/or training preferred
• Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within strict timelines
• Must have advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Understanding of U.S. immigration documents, including I-94 arrival/departure records, visa stamps, and USCIS approval notices preferred
