This position is expected to start around January or February 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (ending approximately May 2027 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. International students must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site.

About The Team

Our team is focused on optimizing the space we have, finding the best solutions to our immediate term expansion needs, and devising and driving our long-term strategy—all under the guiding principle of sustainability. You'll be working cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, interfacing with end users, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering while tracking the project schedule and overall success.

Multiple locations possible: Austin, TX; Buffalo, NY; Fremont, CA; Lathrop, CA; Sparks, NV.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers with daily tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of project activities
  • Participate in site visits to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and assist with on-site problem-solving
  • Help with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including reports, change orders, and meeting minutes
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
  • Assist with data entry and analysis related to project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Ensure that construction activities adhere to safety standards, building codes, and company specifications
  • Provide general administrative support, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials; familiarity with software such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support team goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges

Pay

Expected compensation: $23.00 - $45.00/hour + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
