Internship, Construction Project Management, Infrastructure (Winter/Spring 2027)
This position is expected to start around January or February 2027 and continue through the entire Spring term (ending approximately May 2027 or later, if available). We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. International students must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site.
About The Team
Our team is focused on optimizing the space we have, finding the best solutions to our immediate term expansion needs, and devising and driving our long-term strategy—all under the guiding principle of sustainability. You'll be working cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, interfacing with end users, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering while tracking the project schedule and overall success.
Multiple locations possible: Austin, TX; Buffalo, NY; Fremont, CA; Lathrop, CA; Sparks, NV.
Responsibilities
- Support project managers with daily tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of project activities
- Participate in site visits to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and assist with on-site problem-solving
- Help with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including reports, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
- Assist with data entry and analysis related to project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensure that construction activities adhere to safety standards, building codes, and company specifications
- Provide general administrative support, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials; familiarity with software such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support team goals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges

Pay
Expected compensation: $23.00 - $45.00/hour + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
