About the role

The Internet Firearm Specialist will assist the Firearms Merchants in managing the online presentation of firearms. You will be responsible for SKU creation, pricing, and managing system workflow to initiate, proof, and get web pages live in a manner that accurately and effectively presents the items on the company’s website. The position will also analyze sales and profitability data and help identify and capitalize on market trends to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Firearm Merchant in developing and executing e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and conversion, with an emphasis on enhancing the Drop Ship program size and speed to market.
  • Monitors and analyzes online sales and profitability data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Helps manage the company's e-commerce platform, ensuring that all products are accurately and effectively presented online.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that online promotions, marketing campaigns, and content are aligned with the overall brand strategy.
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in e-commerce.
  • Assists in the management of product inventory and the development of pricing strategies.
  • Works with the customer service team to ensure that all customer inquiries and complaints are addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Provides support to the Digital Merchant in day-to-day operations and projects as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement).
  • 0-3 years of experience in the Retail Firearms business preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with a wide variety of firearms.
  • Experience in proof-reading catalog and/or web page copy.
  • Experience with assortment/item creation and maintenance.
  • Experience with data analytics regarding sales, profitability, and trends.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data to make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to work and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular computer work and sitting.
