Responsibilities
- Develop and grow deposits in the assigned portfolio of new business while expanding the current client base’s portfolio.
- Lead the assigned team to meet established semi-annual and annual goals.
- Conduct periodic team meetings to measure productivity; coach and mentor representatives to increase sales and cross-selling of bank products and services.
- Travel to Venezuela and other countries to meet with prospective and existing customers to expand relationships.
- Actively cross-sell all bank products and services to maximize and expand customer relationships.
- Maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers, ensuring required information for BSA purposes (e.g., nature of business, source of funds) is obtained and disclosed in KYC and Call Reports.
- Oversee processing of NSF and overdraft transactions, holds, stop payments, documentation for deceased account holders, and incoming/outgoing wire requests.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding accounts and transactions, ensuring completeness.
- Visit customers classified as high-risk accounts in accordance with BSA guidelines and visitation policies.
- Complete all requests from BSA, including KYC, ECS, and RFIs, on a timely basis.
- Resolve complex issues and transactions for customers.
- Complete the annual training program assigned.
- Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) years of experience in an International Business role and/or Sales role.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish; ability to fluently speak, understand, read, and write both languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
- Advanced knowledge of selling and cross-selling techniques to provide customers with the bank’s products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to provide customers with solutions.
- Strong presentation skills for various levels of the organization.
- Advanced knowledge of bank operating activities, terminology, products, and services.
- Ability to work in a team environment, ensuring performance goals are met.
