International Intern, Compliance

Location: Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, United States

Internship period: March 8 2027 – September 3 2027 (full‑time, 36.25 hours/week)

About the role

Spring 2027 Full‑Time International Internship supporting the compliance programs for Antitrust, Anti‑Corruption, and Fraud Prevention. The intern will evaluate corporate hospitality cases, assist with antitrust case assessments, perform data analytics for investigations, draft and update compliance instructions, manage speak‑up hotlines, conduct investigations, and support employee training and communications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate corporate hospitality cases for permissibility against company policies.
• Assist in assessing antitrust‑related cases in cooperation with the legal department.
• Perform data analytics for investigative and monitoring purposes.
• Draft and update corporate instructions related to compliance topics.
• Support the management of speak‑up hotlines and conduct investigations, including interviews and e‑discovery.
• Assist in training employees on compliance topics and general compliance communications.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college or university.
• U.S. work authorization required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall).
• At least 60 college credit hours completed at the time of application.
• Ability to work full‑time (36.25 hours/week).
• Submission of an unofficial college transcript with the application.
• Prior BMW Group experience is a plus (applicable to international J‑1 students only).

Qualifications

• Field of study related to Law, Compliance, Finance, or Economics.
• Preferred: Master of Laws (LLM), Master of Legal Studies (MLS), or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Pay

• Undergraduate interns: $25.30 per hour.
• Graduate interns: $32.20 per hour (final rate based on academic level).

Full‑time (36.25 hours per week) hybrid schedule, requiring in‑office days.
