About the role

The International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice at EY is a joint venture between Transaction Advisory Services and Tax service lines. It advises corporate and private equity clients on all aspects of their capital agenda through three competencies: Transaction Tax Advisory, International Corporate Tax Advisory, and Transfer Pricing. The field of taxation is constantly evolving, offering opportunities for professionals to contribute to the development of new trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Review staff work and assist with technical planning and global project management.
  • Provide technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
  • Participate in cross-competency trainings to develop your career through a broad scope of engagements, mentoring, and formal learning.
  • Manage budgets, projects, and people.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and around three years of related work experience, or a graduate degree and two years of related work experience.
  • Progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status.
  • Tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning experience and/or inbound and outbound transaction consulting with international tax research, planning, and compliance experience.
  • Experience managing budgets, projects, and people.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic vision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $91,100 to $150,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,400 to $170,600. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Schedule

We expect most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. We offer a flexible vacation policy and additional time off for designated holidays, personal/family care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
