About the role

The International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice at EY is a joint venture between Transaction Advisory Services and Tax service lines. ITTS advises corporate and private equity clients on their capital agenda through three competencies: Transaction Tax Advisory, International Corporate Tax Advisory, and Transfer Pricing. The field of taxation is dynamic, offering opportunities to contribute to new developments and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Review staff work and assist with technical planning and global project management.
  • Manage budgets, projects, and people.
  • Provide technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
  • Participate in cross-competency trainings to develop career through a broad scope of engagements.
  • Work on various responsibilities, from reviewing staff work to assisting with technical planning and global project management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and around three years of related work experience or a graduate degree and two years of related work experience.
  • Progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status.
  • Tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning experience and/or inbound and outbound transaction consulting with international tax research, planning, and compliance experience.
  • Experience managing budgets, projects, and people.
  • Strong writing, research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable technical professionals with an excellent general knowledge of both international and domestic tax.
  • Excellent business acumen and a firm strategic vision.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $91,100 to $150,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,400 to $170,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
