Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduated from a CAHEEP or ABHES accredited program OR NCCT Approved program.
- Three years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- BLS certification required.
- Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
- Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Standing for prolonged periods.
- Repetitive motion, including passing instruments and lifting heavy instrument sets.
- Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50–100 lbs.
- May be exposed to cold, radiation, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
Pay
$52.00 hourly, compensated at a fixed rate.
