Essential Functions
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the plant that product is utilized - syrup room, fillers, lines, silos, etc.
- Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Work all hours necessary to ensure operations function is fulfilled, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Long periods of standing and walking while using a pressure sprayer (approximately 25#).
- Handle to operate spray.
- Climb steps to designated places.
- Climb ladder 1-2 times daily.
- Document all line sanitation.
- Work in steamy areas and conduct Clean-in-Place processes utilizing hot water.
- Use chemicals and be familiar with possible chemical reactions.
- Clean, sanitize and dump warmers.
- Work with maintenance for any issues or troubleshooting needs.
Food Safety
- Follow the Good Manufacturing Program (GMP) as listed in Code of Federal Regulations CFE 21 section 110.
- Participate in various Food Safety related training that Buffalo Rock utilizes.
- Report potential issues related to Food Safety.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
- Exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
- Continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training.
- Complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.
- Take reasonable precautions to protect the Company from possible damages, theft, or other liabilities.
- Take reasonable precautions to protect the safety of employee-partners, self, customers, Buffalo Rock property, and customer property.
