Role Overview: Responsible for delivering safe patient care in the Emergency Department during night shifts, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care within scope of practice, ensuring standards of professional nursing care.Guide and educate patients, families, and nursing staff.Communicate patient condition changes to physicians, including diagnostic results and symptoms.Respond quickly and accurately to clinical changes or treatment responses.Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, adhere to EMTALA regulations, and report abuse as needed. Qualifications & Skills Current valid state RN license.Certificates in BLS, ALS, PALS/ENPC maintained current.Preferred certifications include CEN, BSN, ECRN or MICN, TNCC, and NRP.Knowledge of emergency protocols, regulatory compliance, and trauma standards preferred. Additional Details: The role is temporary, offering a flat rate of $60/hour, with responsibilities focused on emergency care, patient safety, and regulatory adherence.
