Internal Regional Director - Specialist
Job Overview
The IRD Support Specialist oversees the sales pipeline by providing superior service and sales support relative to the various affiliation models at LPL. This position supports the sales pipeline through every stage of the buying process within their territories.
Responsibilities
- Outbound call and territory specific campaigns relative to affiliation models (Linsco, RIA, and Strategic Wealth).
- Set appointments for external recruiters to meet with advisors in-field.
- Utilize discretion and independent judgment in evaluating potential advisors to determine whether the advisor is an appropriate candidate for LPL prior to introducing to the pipeline.
- Oversee and manage issues resolution relative to deals in pipeline.
- Understand and articulate LPL’s business model, LPL’s policies, the financial services industry, and the benefits of joining one of LPL’s affiliation options.
- Owns request for information management and delivery.
- Owns and manages the transition assistance process.
- Responsible for pro formas and analytics relative to territory pipeline.
- Create customized pitch decks for large/complex deals.
- Schedule and host subject matter expert calls and home office visits (in external recruiter absence).
- Prepare presenters for subject matter expert calls and home office visits.
- Research and maintain territory specific competitive Intel.
Requirements
- 5+ years in sales, sales enablement, advanced markets, or marketing roles within the financial services industry.
Core Competencies
- Ability to navigate a CTI (Computer Telephony Integration)
- Ability to work with CRMs i.e. Salesforce
- Ability to efficiently navigate Microsoft Office Application and Virtual Platforms (Web Ex, Zoom, Microsoft Team)
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
- Some business travel (10%) with increased travel expectations if outside the San Diego or Charlotte markets to support home office visits
- Excellent speaking, listening, writing and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skill set
- Student of industry with knowledge of various industry trends

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: 88,650.00 - 147,750.00
The pay salary range is inclusive of base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based upon the applicable incentive compensation plan for this position. Base salary is determined on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Incentive compensation is dependent on achievement of goals set forth in the incentive compensation plan.
