INTERNAL ONLY - Microcomputer Support 1 - Technology

Internal candidates only.

Purpose

To improve student achievement by providing direct technical support to district staff and students. The Microcomputer Support 1 position provides support in person, via email and on the telephone, of district workstations, applications, peripherals and connectivity through monitoring, installation, troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an Oregon Driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Proof of personal vehicle insurance
• Vehicle available at work daily
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• May be required to transport District equipment in personal vehicle (motorcycles cannot be used)

Responsibilities

• Travel to District schools/departments
• Travel out-of-district
• Work adjusted shifts as necessary
• Work some evenings and weekends as needed

Schedule

8 hours per day, 260 days per year.

Pay

Hourly range: $29.06 – $37.16.
