MITRE's Talent Acquisition team is seeking an Internal Mobility Recruiter to support our commitment to developing and retaining top talent. The Internal Mobility Recruiter partners with employees, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition colleagues to facilitate internal career movement across the organization. This role manages the internal candidate recruitment process within Talent Acquisition, ensuring a positive candidate experience while helping the organization retain and develop talent through strategic internal placement. The recruiter serves as a trusted advisor, balancing employee career aspirations with business talent needs and organizational priorities. This position reports to the Talent Acquisition Operations Leader. Key Responsibilities: Manage the internal candidate recruitment process across assigned business areas within Workday.Partner with Recruiters to understand staffing needs and develop effective internal recruiting strategies.Consult with employees regarding career opportunities, application processes, and internal mobility policies.Advertise internal only reqs via Viva Engage, MME, Employee Engagement Groups, and other sources.Screen and assess candidates within Workday in partnership with Recruiter; partner with Department Admin/TAC on interview coordination, candidate communications, offers, and compliance on the requisition, to ensure seamless employee transitions.Maintain compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and internal hiring procedures.Analyze recruiting metrics and internal mobility trends to identify opportunities for process improvement in partnership with TA Operations; participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction.Conduct compensation analysis using Workday to assess internal equity, ensuring that compensation recommendations align with organizational guidelines, pay structures, and internal mobility practices; partner with Compensation and HR stakeholders to resolve equity considerations and support informed hiring decisions.Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to internal job opportunities received through the Recruiting Inbox.Represent Talent Acquisition at Employee Resource Group (ERG) meetings, employee engagement events, and hiring-related activities to network with employees, promote internal career opportunities, and support career development conversations. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience within recruiting, to include screening candidates and extending offers; Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Experience partnering with candidates, hiring teams, and Recruiters in the federally funded space, government contractor, or complex organizational environment.Proficiency with Workday or another ATS.Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., generative AI, recruiting automation, and talent intelligence platforms) to support communications, process optimization, and recruiting analytics.Excel proficiency for reporting (pivot tables, etc)This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting internal mobility, career development, or talent management programs in the federally funded space.Experience recruiting across multiple business functions or technical disciplines.Strong consultative and customer service orientation.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with employees.Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.Excellent prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to navigate organizational change and support employees through career transitions.Commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.Exercise discretion and confidentiality.
