About the role

BluePearl Southfield Hospital seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Veterinary Internist to join their established and collaborative internal medicine team. Located in Southfield, Michigan, this position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility serving patients in Southfield, Farmington Hills, West Bloomfield, Detroit, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified internists and technicians
• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities
• Contribute to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional patient care

Requirements

• Current AVMA accreditation
• Experience in veterinary internal medicine preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Board certification or board eligibility in veterinary internal medicine
• Michigan license required
