Internal Medicine Residency Outpatient Faculty

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in the outpatient setting, guiding them through patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in a diverse outpatient practice setting.
• Participate in residency curriculum development, teaching conferences, and educational sessions.
• Work closely with a team of dedicated faculty members to foster a dynamic learning environment.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations.
• Participate in clinical quality initiatives and promote best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or Board Eligibility)
• New York State Medical License (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date)
• Prior experience in a teaching/precepting role is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for teaching and mentoring residents

Pay

$200,000.00 - $250,000.00
