Job Summary

A Continuity Ambulatory Clinic is seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine associate to join their team in Webster, Texas. The clinic supervises 2 IM residents and sees approximately 25 patients per day. The schedule includes in-office procedures, practice call from Monday to Friday until 6 PM, and ER call assigned to hospitalists. Telehealth services are also provided. The clinic is located on the hospital campus and is part of a thriving practice in a highly desirable location.

About the Role

The role involves managing a team of 9 physicians (6 Family Medicine and 3 Internal Medicine), supervising 2 IM residents, and providing in-office procedures. Practice call is shared from Monday to Friday until 6 PM, and then rolls over to hospitalists. ER call is assigned to hospitalists. The clinic offers telehealth services and is situated on the hospital campus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise 2 IM residents
  • Manage a team of 9 physicians (6 Family Medicine and 3 Internal Medicine)
  • Provide in-office procedures
  • Share practice call from Monday to Friday until 6 PM
  • Assign ER call to hospitalists
  • Offer telehealth services

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree
  • Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Experience in ambulatory care setting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in Texas
  • Must have DEA license
  • Must have good interpersonal skills
