Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician with a faculty role in our community-based IM residency program.
About the Role
- Employed position with Aiken Physicians Alliance
- Outpatient only – no inpatient or hospital call
- Practice at one of four Aiken-area primary care clinics
- Collegial team of physicians, APPs, and MAs
- ~18-20 patients per day
- Cerner EMR
Responsibilities
- Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the Aiken community and surrounding area
- Practice comprehensive primary care in a community setting
- Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education
- Diagnose, treat, and manage conditions ranging from common illnesses to chronic disease
- Serve as core or teaching faculty educating and precepting IM residents
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active, clear South Carolina medical license and DEA (or ability to obtain)
- Clean professional background
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate bedside manner
