About the Role

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician for an employed position with Aiken Physicians Alliance. This outpatient-only role includes a faculty position with our community-based Family Medicine residency program or Transitional Year program. The practice is based at one of four Aiken-area primary care clinics, with a collegial team of physicians, APPs, and MAs. The position involves seeing 18-20 patients per day using Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities

• Support ARMC's mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the Aiken community and surrounding area.
• Practice comprehensive family medical care in a community setting.
• Provide preventative care, including well visits, screenings, and health education.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage conditions ranging from common illnesses to chronic diseases.
• Serve as core or teaching faculty, educating and precepting Family Medicine residents or Transitional Year residents.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Active, clear South Carolina medical license and DEA, or ability to obtain them.
• Clean professional background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate bedside manner.
