Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Family Medicine physician for an employed position with Aiken Physicians Alliance. The role includes a faculty role with our community-based Family Medicine residency program or Transitional Year program.

About the role

• Outpatient only practice with no inpatient or hospital call
• Practice at one of four Aiken-area primary care clinics
• Collegial team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and medical assistants
• Patient volume of approximately 18-20 patients per day
• Cerner EMR

Responsibilities

• Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the Aiken community and surrounding area
• Practice comprehensive family medical care in a community setting
• Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education
• Diagnose, treat, and manage conditions ranging from common illnesses to chronic disease
• Serve as core or teaching faculty educating and precepting Family Medicine residents or Transitional Year residents

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active, clear South Carolina medical license and DEA certification or ability to obtain
• Clean professional background
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate bedside manner
