Internal Medicine Physician - Locum Tenens

About the role

This outpatient Internal Medicine physician provides primary care services within a correctional facility, managing acute and chronic conditions for adult patients. The role involves conducting patient evaluations, supporting a patient load of 15-20 individuals daily, and collaborating with NPs and nursing staff to ensure quality care. Prescriptive authority is required.

The position includes call responsibilities, serving on a second call rotation once every two months, covering all facility locations. Candidates must be capable of integrating internal medicine management into the correctional environment.

Schedule

Day shifts, on-site at the correctional facility.

Responsibilities

Requirements
