Internal Medicine/Hospitalist Physician
About the role
An internal medicine/hospitalist physician is needed to diagnose and treat medical conditions, diseases and injuries of internal organ systems in adult hospital inpatients who do not require surgical intervention. The role includes ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, providing long-term, comprehensive care, and treating patients consistent with internal medicine.

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from an accredited medical school in the U.S. (or foreign equivalent).
- Completion of 3-year internal medicine residency.
- Active or pending Georgia medical license.
- Past of all parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
- Certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
- Board eligibility in internal medicine.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from an accredited medical school in the U.S. (or foreign equivalent), completion of 3-year internal medicine residency, an active or pending Georgia medical license, passing all parts of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), and certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
