Job Responsibilities
- Full-time position, equivalent to 14 shifts per month
- ICU – open (4 bed) with Pulmonologist and virtual ICU support
- Day census; 12-20 split between MD and APP (independent provider)
- Night census: 2 – 4 admissions on average
- Procedures: preferred but not required (CRNA, Surgery, ED available to assist)
- Integrated EMR: EPIC for seamless patient care management
Job Qualifications
- Successful completion of a family medicine residency or an internal medicine residency accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the American Osteopathic Association
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine, or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine
- Current licensure by the Oregon Medical Board to practice medicine
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Demonstrated competence and adequate experience to provide medical care at professionally acceptable quality and efficiency standards
- Approachable team player with strong communication skills
